Dr. Michael Graham, PhD. In science with a concentration in Nursing. After starting his studies at The Academy of Health Sciences, he finished at Clemson University. Formerly Benefits Protection Team Leader for The Disabled American Veterans, Department of North Carolina. He fought for better and to keep benefits for our Disabled Veterans. He was instrumental in working alongside Congress and Senate in securing benefits for personnel stationed at Bases and locations contaminated with Hazardous Materials. He is currently on the Veteran Affairs Mental Advocacy Council at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. He also serves on the Veteran Affairs Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) Veterans Advisory Council. Additionally, he serves on The Triangle Purple Heart Dinner Committee. He is a life member of the 82nd Airborne Association, member of the North Carolina Chaplains Association and the North Carolina Sheriffs Association. He has been married to his wife, Metisa, for 18 years. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. In his free time, he and his wife enjoy NASCAR, DC United Soccer, Clemson and Washington Redskins Football.
